sure, I write between lines so I make sure I don't miss anything.
I want one favour. I am doing the similar project like this with some added feature for my final year academic project.
Great, what is about?
Can u do one help. I was spending time this whole day and was trying to understand ur handsfree project structure in github.
I'm sorry about that. It isn't clear on purpose because it is a work in progress.
But it would be clear if u give some explanation about the same!
Let's start by the beginning, Handsfree for Web, everything starts from there, it's a chrome extension useful to browse the web hands-free. I think you have watched videos about it.
I started to break it in several sub-projects and published as open-source.
Then I realize that many developers (you might be one) want to bring handsfree support to their own websites without asking to the users to install the extension.
I want to know which project is for which purpose: I can see three projects: 1. Handsfree Modules Project
voice commands modules that are closely related with the browser and not to the websites
voice commands modules that are related to the websites
2. Handsfree for Web
Chrome extension, you can learn everything about it in handsfreeforweb.com and https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/handsfree-for-web-voice-c/ldfboinpfdahkgnljbkohgimhimmafip
Its entire code is not public yet. Maybe 70%
3. Handsfree for Website
A library that can be loaded into any website in order to allow the user to interact with it handsfree. Right now is in a kind of beta, I have to write docs for it. https://github.com/sljavi/handsfree-for-website
You can see it working here https://sljavi.github.io/handsfree-for-website-modules/dist/index.html
- How the modules project is interconnected?
Handsfree-for-website loads the handsfree-for-website-modules module. And uses something called handsfree-core, that is not public yet, to run the commands.
- Where is the extension project? I have seen frontend screens when I press extension icon.
Can u give me a clear idea?
I'm not sure if I have been clear, I think you have hit all the complexity without a guide. I'll work on that as soon as I finish the development.
Me too a previous frontend developer in Angular, so I can understand things more clearly!
Awesome, It'd be great if you can share what are you trying to implement, I'll point out how to use the handsfree-for-web infrastructure.
