I just started using Handsfree for Web. I think it has great potential. Unfortunately, there are some commands not working for me.
Two things that come to my mind right now:
I read a PDF document inside Chrome. Zooming in and out works perfectly, however the command "down" or "scroll down" has no effect.
Watching a video on youtube: I can "click video" and see several options on the bottom of the page. "Pause" and "Play" work, but "Mute", "Rewind", "Volume up/down" and so on don't work.
How comes that in both cases some commands work and others don't (although they were recognized correctly)?
Thanks and all the best!
I just released a new version of the extension with a fix for the voice commands that weren't working properly when interacting with videos.
Could you share the website where you open PDFs, I'll review it and see what's going wrong.
The new version of the extension will be available, as soon as it passes the Google's review. (two or three days more or less)
Thanks for using the extension and reporting the problems.
thanks for taking a look at the problems and for the bug fix. Looking forward to the new version of the extension.
This was the PDF i could zoom but could not scroll.
Thanks for your effort!
I've been researching about how the PDF viewer works in order to figure out how to trigger the scroll action inside of it. So far I haven't be able to do that because it's a closed plugin, it doesn't provide public access to the html elements' properties.
I'll give a second round of research in a few days just in case I've missed something.
