This could be a very usable feature Paul!
Save users, emails and passwords and apply them automatically in website forms is something pretty complex to make. Even google chrome sometimes fails to autofill the fields. Implement this exactly feature will be challenging and I'm sure that won't work fine all the times.
But! I think I can propose an alternative idea that I think it will work great, even better than the current implementation of Google Chrome just because we can tell voice commands
The autocomplete module
After clicking in a text field, you are able to introduce text using some of the following actions
- dictate some free text
- write the text key by key using the virtual keyboard
- paste some previously copied text
The autocomplete module will add a 4th one, let's call it for now the
autocomplete voice command.
Once you mentioned that word a list of texts will be shown, after telling the selected number, the related text will be automatically pasted in the field.
Where these texts to paste are coming from?
I think the best place to manage them will be the admin page, there you will be able to add so many pre-configured text as you need. e.g. emails, passwords, names, users, phone numbers, and any other common text that you use every day.
what do you think?
